Empowering Change Through Solidairty

Hands4Uyghurs is a non-profit organization that donates to the Uyghur Human Rights Project aiming to contribute to the Uyghur families in the Uyghur Xinjiang Autonomous Regions in China.

Over the course of many centuries, Uyghur communities in the northwest region of China have struggled through poverty, lack of education, healthcare, and basic resources. Due to the many issues faced by the people of Xinjiang, roughly 500,000 Uyghur people have left their homeland to seek better opportunities elsewhere.

Yet, still roughly 12 million Uyghurs remain in northwest China, and the harsh conditions they face are continuous, affecting Uyghur populations today.
